Grace Fellowship Ministries was birthed out of obedience, faith, and a genuine love for God’s people. Founded on September 8, 2007, in the home of Pastors Sandra and Freddie Alston, the ministry began as a small gathering with a big God. What started with just six people was marked by the unmistakable presence of the Lord, affirming that where God is welcomed, growth is inevitable.

From its inception, Grace Fellowship Ministries has been grounded in the faithful teaching and preaching of the Word of God with clarity, compassion, and truth. Early Bible studies and worship services, though modest in number, were rich in unity, faith, and spiritual impact. Through the power of God’s Word, lives were transformed, burdens were lifted, and hearts were set free.

As the Lord continued to expand the ministry, Grace Fellowship Ministries grew in both reach and responsibility. The church developed strong ministry auxiliaries, increased opportunities for worship and discipleship, and deepened its commitment to serving both the body of Christ and the surrounding community. Growth within the church fueled a greater vision beyond its walls—to be a ministry without boundaries, where love is extended without regard to race, culture, or background.

Grace Fellowship Ministries has been blessed with a diverse and unified congregation of individuals and families who share a heart to serve the Lord and advance His Kingdom. Our ongoing mission is to build lives anchored in Christ, strengthen families, and serve our community with humility, purpose, and compassion—being a living testimony of God’s grace in action.

 

A significant transition in leadership took place on February 8, 2026, when the pastoral mantle was prayerfully and purposefully transferred to Ministers Mario and Andrea Alston. With Pastors Mario and Andrea Alston now serving as Senior Pastors, Pastors Sandra and Freddie Alston have assumed the roles of Founder and Overseer, continuing to provide wisdom, covering, and spiritual guidance to the ministry.

Grace Fellowship Ministries is now located at 1545 Meeting Street Road in Charleston, South Carolina, and remains committed to growth, outreach, and spiritual wholeness. More than a church, Grace Fellowship Ministries is a place where faith grows, love lives, and lives are continually transformed through the power of Jesus Christ.
